My First Steak Out
I know nothing about steak. I've never been a big fan of red meat unless it's minced (ground) and tossed in taco seasoning. But today is the day I've decided to learn how to cook it. So I went on a field trip to the grocery store and bought me veggies and some good quality steaks. And how does a Gen X wife go about finding steak recipes? YouTube, of course. Hi Jamie Oliver.
Date Night @ Broadway
In California, it's hard to have a local--people never recognize regular customers because there's some 30 million people living there. New South Wales? We got 7 mil.
That's why we get to call Broadway our local. The baristas know what to start making before we even order. It's where we shop for fruits and veggies, and it's where we enjoy entertainment.
Matt and I had a very focused and productive weekend at the office, so last night I thought we deserved a night out. Where else would we go but to our local for a quick tasty feed, two cappuccinos, and two seats to catch a new flick.

Dear Mom & Dad
Thanks for sticking together. It's rare for marriages to last this long but you continue to prove to everyone that it's possible. You raise the bar every year. We love you both so much and can't wait to celebrate lots of happy occasions with the fam very, very soon. Happy 44th Anniversary. xoxo
