Afternoon at Armory Wharf

We drove out to Newington to catch up with Jamie & Leanne for lunch and an adventure around their neighbourhood.  We enjoyed yummy food at this historic spot called the Armory Wharf Cafe and then explored the massive playground nearby.  It was the coolest playground I've ever seen!

The afternoon sun burned off the morning showers and continued blazing down, leaving us to walk through steamy heat.  We ended up at a cute Italian cafe where we cooled off with water and delicious dessert drinks.  It was fun afternoon of long walks and good talks.
